It’s never too late to introduce your child to a classic furniture design 🙂

I knew there were many Japanese and East Asian sites selling 1:12 scales of famous furniture designs, but lately all my sites were out of all the sets I wanted (Eames and Mies Van der Rohe). I came across Us site with a great selection for very reasonable price. I know I need to really restrain myself, but I figure instead of buying a generic “living room” set I can get a great sofa (for less) and anything can be the side table.

This is one of my favourites, I was contemplating getting a real size Eames elephant for Sara, but with our limited house size practicality won. This way she will have at least little one in her doll house. 

She actually started to talk about wanting a doll house, so now my reply is;“Maybe for your birthday”. I haven’t had much time lately to work on the house, plus my energy was consumed by the various bugs trying to attack my body. Luckily daily dose of vitamin D is really working the wonders and I’m getting ready to tackle the floors and walls. 

But for now, we are going to enjoy the last of the snow before it melts this afternoon.
