Today the “good angels of internet” sent me a link to an amazingly talented miniature maker Pepper. She shared some fantastic DIY projects. Ultra modern fire pit will look really good on Sara’s roof top patio, but most of all tips on sofa making. My first attempt was unsuccessful, so I’m back to the base and some hard thinking is in order to figure out the steps to assemble the sofa. I think I might even involve the sewing machine. Felt looked like a good choice at first, but after couple trials it’s out, even the thin one is too bulky for a polished look. I need to search through my scrap pile. My favourite pants are now two sizes too big and I was about to put the on the “charity pile”, they are a fantastic material and will make a sophisticated sofa covering. Does that count as up-cycle? 🙂
