It’s not 100%, but the best I can do right now. I love looking into the rooms and seeing life in them. At the end it took 4 hours of sheer willpower to somewhat upholster the sofa. The original plan was to keep the L shaped seat cushion as a one piece, but I just couldn’t figure out how to sew it. After at least an hour I gave up and split it into two, not perfect, but will have to do for Sara to trash 🙂
Found a piece of odd fabric that I had from a swatch catalogue and it turned into a lovely rug, even has a fringe at the ends. The fabric for the sofa is from my favourite pants. No longer size 12 :)), they are too loose on me and can’t be worn with a belt. So they are now a sleek sofa and I plan on making matching curtains for the large living room window. My today’s task is to find those super cute logs that go inside the fire place, figure out the size so I can start on creating the floor to ceiling fire place. Without it I can not finish the wall and the entry wall, so I need to get onto it. Inspired by Pepper’s fabulous scale down of ModFire I will try it for the roof terrace. I will make paper version and try it in aluminium as well. I know the metal might be sturdier, but I want the edges to be child friendly, so I figured out to try both and see.
