Three posts in one weekend

Very productive weekend I would say. Sara is feeling much better, even thou she started to cough a bit, but no fever or vomiting any more. I can feel dry irritating cough in my throat too, but I’ll get over it.

Next weekend starts new tax season and I’ll be working on the weekends in the office, so the progress made on the doll house this weekend was possibly last one for a while.

Since I had my sewing machine on the table, I sewn some cushions, bedding and curtains. It’s starting to look like something for sure. I know I posted about doors for the house some time ago, but I still haven’t ordered anything. All the doors that I came across were way too traditional, so at the end I’ll do simple french door used as the entry door. I can turn the “glass” into a frosted version to make it look like a realistic door. 

So long last weekend in January, it feels like the year had just begun, but we are already on the month two. The progress on the house has been astonishing, considering I was going to school two nights a week and I still do all my usual house work and cooking. We are continuing with our lean and healthy way of eating and it shows and feels 🙂 The only thing we are missing is some sunshine and a bit of warmth so we can hop on our bikes and go for a ride.

February is a very short month, I’m ready for the Valentine’s day at Sara’s class and J and me are hoping our house will be selected for the movie shot, all fingers crossed.
